Smartlid South Africa requires an experienced sale person with relevant experience in the food & packing industry.
Smartlid is a revolutionary new product - A heat sensitive colour changing disposable plastic lid.
The SmartLid creates/promotes safety awareness for hot beverages for to coffee/tea drinkers and foodservice staff. • The SmartLid when coupled with corporate colours can add significant brand value and recognition. • The colour changing technology changes from a dark colour state to a lighter colour state with the introduction of heat. Many colour options are possible. • Manufactured with a food grade compliant colour-changing additive, when cold, the lid is its dark colour state. • When hot, the lid turns red to remind the customer to be careful. • As the drink cools, the colour of the lid changes back to the regular starting colour. • The lid is correctly fitted if there is a complete ring around the lid in the dark colour and incorrectly fitted if there is a broken ring around the lid.• The colour changing lid works in a universal language colour! There are no language or interpretation barriers.
To apply for this position, you must have worked in the industry, but more importantly have ‘access’ to the larger food chains, such as Famous Brands, McDonalds and KFC. This is not a ‘door-to-door’ sales position. Only the larger chains will be targeted. The lids are imported and minimum orders need to be 1 Container load – approximately 750.000 lids. Commissions are in the region of R50, 000 for the initial container load order from each client and then R25, 000 per repeat order from that client.
