5 Years experience as Lead Planner leading the execution of large projects
Mechanical Trade with Min. 5 yrs experience
N6 Mechanical Engineering Certificate
PMI Qualification
NQF 7 Project Management
Primavera 6.7; Normal, Advanced and Resource Certified
Microsoft: Word, Excel, Project, Access, Powerpoint and Outlook
Ability to apply mathematical principles in both standard and non standard situations.
Thorough understanding and knowledge of production process
Good commercial and negotiating skills.
An understanding of commercial law.
Ability to understand technical drawings preferred
 

Ability to manage others especially planners
Be a role model for planners and lead by example
Ability to solve problems and introduce innovation
Pro-active in all aspects of Project / Commercial Management
Experienced in construction methodology and plant performance
Experienced in production of time-location charts
Experienced in earthworks planning and productio mass-haul diagrams
Experienced in managemnet of third parties and stakeholders

Ability to support, supervise and train junior planners
At least 3 years experience based on site preferably up to Site Manager level
At least 2 years experience of managing other planners
More than 50% of time associated with planning
Planning of projects over R10 million
Design & Build experience
Computer literate with comprehensive experience of main planning packages
